Hanadi Chatila is an assistant professor and researcher at the Lebanese University, Faculty of Education. Chatila earned her Licentiate degree in Natural Science at the Lebanese University, Faculty of Sciences in 1993. She successfully completed her higher studies Diploma DES in Biology Education at the Lebanese University (1998). Then, she sought her postgraduate studies at Macquarie University, Sydney Australia, where she achieved her PhD in Science Education, in 2005.
Hanadi Chatila joined the Faculty of Education at the Lebanese University in 2005 and became assistant professor in 2010. In addition to teaching under and postgraduates’ courses, Chatila has been the coordinator of Biology Teaching since 2014, and the supervisor of science practicum for pre-service science teachers since 2016. Moreover, she participated and contributed in various local and international educational conferences. Her main area of interest: teacher education program, teaching strategies and epistemology of science.
